2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act 2022 .

3 . Prosecution case is that 192 liters codeine cough syrup were recovered from seized vehicle .

4. It is submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case only one the basis of suspicion . No incriminating material has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5 . Learned counsel for the State submits that the huge quantity of cough syrup have been recovered from the seized

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.85424 of 2024(4) dt.24-03-2025 2/2 vehicle of which petitioner is registered owner.

6. Considering the facts of the case as also the fact that huge quantity of cough syrup have been recovered from the vehicle of which petitioner is registered owner, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
