The matter has been taken up through video conferencing.

The petitioner, in this writ petition, seeks direction to the respondents to grant him revised pensionary benefits after restoration of commuted value of pension since 01.10.1999 and also for a direction to give the arrears and benefit of 7th Pay Commission to the petitioner.

Counter affidavit has already been filed on behalf of respondent No.3, the Branch Manager, State Bank of India, Desri Branch. In the counter affidavit the respondent No.3 has made specific statement in paragraph 5, 6 and 7 that commuted value of pension of Rs. 800/- of the petitioner has been restored

Patna High Court CWJC No.23360 of 2019(4) dt.02-07-2020 2/2 with effect from 01.10.2014 and the petitioner is getting full pension. The basic pension of petitioner is Rs. 2400/- w.e.f. 01.10.1999 and his P.P.O. is revised to Rs. 5424/- under 6th Pay Commission and subsequently revised to Rs. 13,940/- under 7th Pay Commission. The arrear amounts of Rs. 3828/- and Rs. 35,538/- have already been credited in the account of the petitioner (Annexure-R3/1 and R3/2).

It appears that grievance of the petitioner has already been redressed and the petitioner is getting his revised pension. The arrear amounts have also been credited in the account of the petitioner.

Having considered the facts aforesaid, this writ petition stands disposed of.

If the petitioner still has got any grievance, the petitioner may file representation before respondent No.3, the Branch Manager, State Bank of India, Desri Branch, who shall look into the matter and pass order in accordance with law within three months from the date of receipt of representation.
