Petitioner prays for bail in connection with Araria P.S.Case No. 381 of 2015, corresponding to G.R.No. 2234 of 2015, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1B)(a), 26 and 35 of the Arms Act. Allegation as per FIR is that six miscreants came on motorcycles and snatched cash, poss machine, Register, bag, mobile and other articles. Petitioner is not named in the FIR and later on his name transpired in the confessional statement of coaccused and he is accused in seven other cases. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that except confessional statement there is nothing against the petitioner and petitioner has been remanded in other cases also and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.63585 of 2018 (2) dt.26-10-2018 2/2 he is in custody since 5.8.2016 and other co-accused persons have been granted bail.

Heard learned APP also.

Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

However, once charge has been framed in this case, petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
