Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the informant and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with S.Tr. No. 230 of 2023 / 709 of 2023 arising out of Sherghati P.S. Case No. 376 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.84540 of 2023(3) dt.19-03-2024 2/3 364A/395 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is alleged to have been involved in a case of Dacoity.

4. The petitioner is in jail since 20.05.2022 and he has clean antecedent.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional District and Sessions Judge, Sherghati, Gaya in connection with Sherghati P.S. Case No. 376 of 2022.

7. As a condition of this order, the petitioner after being released on bail is directed to mark his attendance at Sherghati Police Station on every Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the police station will result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. Re:- Cr. Misc. No. 1214 of 2024.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.84540 of 2023(3) dt.19-03-2024 3/3 Case No. 376 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 364A/395 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is alleged to have been involved in a case of Dacoity.

4. The petitioner is in jail since 25.08.2022 and he is accused in 12 more cases of similar and serious nature.

5. Considering the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.

7. The Court below is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and conclude the same at the earliest. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Vikas/- U T
