1. The present petition has been filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Session Trial No.299 of 2022, arising out of Barhat P.S. Case No.154 of 2020, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A)/304(B)/34 of the I.P.C.

2. The case of the prosecution in brief is that the daughter of the informant was married with the petitioner in the year, 2014 and after sometime the petitioner had started demanding a motorcycle by way of dowry, however, on account of non-fulfillment of the said demand, the petitioner and his family members started harassing and torturing the daughter of the informant, whereafter they had ultimately killed the deceased daughter of the informant and thrown her dead body in

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has at the outset, sought liberty on behalf of the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after a lapse of one year from today, in case there is no substantial progress in the on going trial. Liberty so sought is granted.

4. The learned Additional Sessions Judge-2nd, Jamui is directed to expedite the proceedings of Sessions Trial No.299 of 2022.

5. Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
