The present petition has been filed for grant of regular bail on behalf of the petitioner in connection with Bahadurpur P.S. Case No. 244 of 2019, Special Case No. 8337 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2018.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 120 litres of illicit country made Mahua liquor from the hut of co-accused Dhiraj Kumar and the petitioner is stated to be arrested from the said place.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the present case, this Court deems it fit and proper to grant regular bail to the petitioner, above named, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna in connection with Bahadurpur P.S. Case No. 244 of 2019, Special Case No. 8337 of 2019.
