The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Araria (Bairgachhi) PS case no. 867 of 2019 instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a), 38 of Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 177 pieces of pouch each measuring 100 ml of codeine cough syrup from the motorcycle of the petitioner herein.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is accused in two other cases, however he is on bail in the said two cases. The petitioner is said to be languishing in custody since 08.10.2019.

Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Araria in connection with Araria (Bairgachi) PS case no. 867 of 2019.
