2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jaynagar P.S. Case No. 112 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 201 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The petitioner and one Jamil had sexual intercourse with the deceased and thereafter, they have killed the deceased. The petitioner is said to have strangulated the deceased. The petitioner is in jail since 05.05.2023.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

5. Since the petitioner is the person who has killed the deceased, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this application stands dismissed.

7. If the trial is delayed, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
