Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under sections 399, 402 of the IPC, various sections of the Arms Act and sections 20, 22 of the NDPS Act.

One cartridge and 14 Purias Ganja are said to have been recovered from conscious possession of the petitioner when the petitioner and others had assembled to make preparation for committing dacoity.

Although firearms and explosive substance were recovered from conscious possession of other co-accused but considering the above stated fact as well as this aspect of the matter that the petitioner is in jail custody since
