2. The instance application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Ara Muffasil P.S. Case No. 258 of 2022 instituted for the offence u/s 392, 411, 302 of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by this court vide order dated 21.4.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 332 of 2023 with an observation to expedite the trial.

4. In pursuance to the direction of this Court, a report dt. 7.3.2024 with regard to the present stage of trial has been received by which it appears that the expected duration that will take to conclude the trial is around eighteen (18) months.

5. No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail application of the petitioner, as such, his prayer is rejected.

6. Accordingly, this application stands disposed off.

7. Learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of nine (9) months, failing which the petitioner may renew his prayer of bail.
