2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Imamganj P.S. Case No. 249 of 2023 dated 12.09.2023 registered for the offences punishable u/s 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, four unknown miscreants ridden on two motorcycles are alleged to have snatched the bag of the informant, in which Rs. 8 lakhs were kept, on the point of pistol.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is not named

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.78863 of 2025(2) dt.05-12-2025 2/2 in the FIR and the name of the petitioner has transpired on the basis of confessional statement of the co-accused Praveen Kumar who has been granted regular bail by this Court vide order 29.04.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 29635 of 2024. The charge-sheet has been submitted against the petitioner. The petitioner has twelve criminal antecedents out of which five cases have been wrongly mentioned in the case diary as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 08.04.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Gaya in connection with Imamganj P.S. Case No. 249 of 2023.

7. The application stands allowed.
