The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sahebpur Kamal P.S. Case No.237 of 2019 registered under Sections 25(1-B)A, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

The accusation is that, in course of police patrolling duty, the petitioner and one Md. Bajir were apprehended. On search, the petitioner was found in possession of one loaded country made pistol and one cartridge, whereas Md. Bajir was found in possession of one live cartridge.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.73231 of 2019(4) dt.06-03-2020 2/2 custody since 24.07.2019.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai, in connection with Sahebpur Kamal P.S. Case No.237 of 2019. Out of the two sureties, one must be either parents or the close relative of the petitioner.
