2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with S.T. No. 473 of 2022 arising out of Amarpur P.S. Case No. 618 of 2020 registered on 14.10.2020 lodged under Sections 302 of the I.P.C. which has been rejected vide order dated 28.09.2022 in Cr. Misc. No. 60836 of 2021 with liberty to the petitioner that he may renew his prayer for bail after lapse of one year from the date of passing of this order.

3. On earlier occasion status report of the present case has been called for.

4. From perusal of the progress report, it transpires that two witnesses are yet to be examined. As such, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at present.

5. However, counsel for petitioner submits that as per his knowledge, only one witness is yet to be examined.

6. Learned counsel for the State opposes to prayer for bail.

7. With this observation, the bail application stands rejected.
