====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 19-12-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in Tajpur (Halai O.P.) P.S. Case No. 199 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Sections 498A, 304b/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is husband of the deceased.

In the written report it is alleged that daughter of informant was married with petitioner about three years back. The informant got information on 18.7.2017 that his daughter has been done to death on account of burn injury. Case diary has been received.

Post mortem report is available in the case diary wherein the Doctor has found the cause of death due to burn injury. In the inquest report it is mentioned that dead body was found inside the house with burn injury.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.67853 of 2018(3) dt.19-12-2018 2/2 Counsel for the petitioner submits that police has mentioned about two place of occurrence. One place is at some distance of the house of petitioner where the girl has been set on fire. The other place of occurrence is said to be the thatched house of the petitioner where the daughter of the informant was found burnt.

From the impugned order it appears that petitioner was absconder during investigation.

Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial. (Sanjay Priya, J) S.Ali/- U T
