2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Gopalpur P.S. Case No. 364 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 8, 17©, 18©, 25, 29, 31, 61 of the NDPS Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, 43Kg of opium was recovered from the possession of the four accused persons including this petitioner. 1.532 Kg of opium was recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner is in custody since 29.08.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the recovery of a huge quantity of opium, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands rejected.
