The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Murliganj P.S.Case No. 09 of 2019 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code. Regard being had to the gravity of the offence, serious nature of allegation made in the FIR that the petitioner and others brutally assaulted the elder brother of the informant as a result of which he died and the materials collected in course of investigation as available in the case diary, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. The application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
