This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Shikarpur P.S. Case No.624 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under section 302/34 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is the wife of the deceased.

After the deceased was shot and killed, one of the criminals namely, Shivam Kumar has been arrested and he has given the statement that the murder has been committed at the instance of the petitioner, who was in a relationship with one Ravi Kumar. The petitioner is in custody since 02.08.2023. 4.

Considering the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.84425 of 2023(3) dt.19-03-2024 2/2 privilege of regular bail. Accordingly, this bail application is rejected. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same as early as possible.
