Patna High Court CWJC No.19032 of 2024(2) dt.17-12-2024 2/3 17-12-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "I. For quashing Article 3(i) of the By-Laws of Kautilya Recreation Club, constituted by management of NTPC Barh under Patronage of NTPC Ltd., in which it is mentioned that only all permanent and regular executives of legal majority and good character and good reputation shall be eligible for membership and for that reason the employees and their family members in workman cadre of NTPC Ltd. Barh have been debarred from taking membership of Kautilya recreation club, contrary to the welfare policy of the company, which is situated at NTPC township Barh premises, while workmen and Executives have been living together with their families in the NTPC township.

For directing the respondents to amend By-Laws of Kautilya Recreation Club and grant permission to all the permanent and regular employees of NTPC Barh of good character and good reputation to be eligible for membership, subject to fulfilling other requirement, as per the welfare policy of NTPC Limited.

III. For a direction to the respondents to allow the workman and their families to participate as member of Kautilya recreation club which is situated at NTPC township, Barh and prevent discrimination and humiliation of the workers family, as is being done by the officials of NTPC Ltd., Barh."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such
