2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 1466 of 2023, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498-A of IPC and section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. It is a case of matrimonial dispute.

4. Vide order dated 03.07.2025, the matter was referred to the Patna High Court Mediation Centre for exploring the possibility of amicable resolution between the parties.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the mediation failed, as both the parties are not willing to reside

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.85784 of 2024(7) dt.21-08-2025 2/2 together. The petitioner is ready to pay Rs. 3,500/- per month to O.P. No. 2 as interim maintenance.

6. On the other hand, the learned counsel for the informant has submitted that the petitioner is a contractor, to which the learned counsel for the petitioner replied that he is a labourer.

7. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances as well as the fact that the petitioner is ready to pay Rs. 3,500/- monthly installment to O.P. No.2, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Complaint Case No. 1466 of 2023, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
