Petitioner seeks bail in Kotwali P.S. Case No.616 of 2018 registered under Sections 406, 420, 323, 504 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

The gist of the allegation is that the petitioner took Rs.40,00,000/- to get the admission of the informant in a Medical College three years ago.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the informant did not produce any chit of paper to show that he handed over even a single farthing to the petitioner. The informant is alleged to have given illegal money for illegal purpose and set the law in motion.

Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.71933 of 2018(2) dt.10-12-2018 2/2 allegation made against the petitioner, petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Patna in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No.616 of 2018.
