The petitioner has filed the instant application for grant of bail in a case registered for the offence under sections 25(1-b)a and 26 of the Arms Act.

As per the allegation in the FIR, a loaded country made arm is said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the allegation is false and concocted, he is in custody since 25.07.2019 and even the seizure list has not been prepared in accordance with law.

The application for bail has been opposed by learned APP for the State.

No.76290 of 2019(2) dt.02-12-2019 2/2 Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the recovery of country made arm from the possession of the petitioner, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and as such his application for bail is rejected. However, if so advised, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail on completion of six months in custody.
