The petitioner, husband of the complainant/Opposite Party No. 2, apprehends his arrest in Complaint Case No. 103 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. As per complaint case, this petitioner is alleged to have committed torture and harassment with the complainant/O.P.-2 due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the parties have resolved their dispute in terms of settlement

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.82903 of 2023(5) dt.02-07-2024 2/2 mutually agreed upon by them. A copy of the settlement is annexed with the mediator's report dated 24.06.2024.

5. Learned counsel for Opposite Party No.2 does not controvert the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is allowed.

Accordingly, in the event of arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, let the above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SDJM, Dehri, District- Rohtas, in connection with Complaint Case No. 103 of 2022 of Dehir, District- Rohtas, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
