The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Phulwari Sharif P.S. Case No.733 of 2018 corresponding to Special Case No.183 of 2018 registered under Sections 354B, 354D, 379 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of POCSO Act. The father of victim made allegation that two persons were stalking his daughter while she was going to coaching and taking milk. On such information, the informant started keeping watch and saw that petitioner and his accomplice Ranjeet Kumar caught his daughter in a lonely place and tried to snatch her chain. On alarm, Ranjeet Kumar was apprehended on the spot and the petitioner managed to flee away from there. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no offence under Sections 354B and 354D of the Indian Penal

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.74520 of 2018(3) dt.09-01-2019 2/2 Code is made out. It is a case of snatching. The petitioner was not apprehended on the spot. The name of petitioner was disclosed by the person, who was apprehended on the spot. Having considered the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
