The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Special Case No. 8968 of 2019 arising out of P.R. No. 235 of 2019 for the offence registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise and Prohibition (Amendment) Act, 2018. The allegation is regarding recovery of 20 liters of illicit liquor from a public place and the petitioner is stated to be near by when he was apprehended by the Police. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and he is having a clean antecedent. It is further submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 10.10.2019.
