2. The petitioner who is the husband of the deceased is in custody since 06.06.2023 in connection with Ara Town P.S. Case No. 454 of 2023 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, in a marriage of December, 2022, the girl is alleged to have been killed.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. He next submits that the deceased has committed suicide. The petitioner has no criminal antecedents.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No. 83773 of 2023(2) dt.10-01-2024 2/2 behalf of the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail. He next submits that the deadbody of the deceased has been recovered by the police, post mortem has been done and the allegation is of killing the deceased for demand of dowry.

6. Considering the nature of the allegations and the nature of injuries sustained by the victim, I am not inclined to grant bail to this petitioner. It is, accordingly, dismissed.
