The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272 and 273 of the IPC and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The prosecution case is that 14.850 litres of country made liquor was recovered from the house of the petitioner. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the recovery has been made from the joint family house. Considering the nature of accusation and the recovery, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail as the same is not maintainable, however keeping in view the quantity of recovery, it is a case for consideration of the prayer for regular
