The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Chakiya P.S. Case No. 87 of 2018 for the offenses punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a/26/35 of the Arms Act. The allegation is regarding the petitioner having been apprehended by the Police and upon search, a pistol of 9 M.M. bore and three cartridges were recovered.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he is languishing in custody since 08.05.2018. As far as the criminal antecedent is concerned, in one case the petitioner has already been granted bail and in the other case the petitioner was remanded after being arrested in the present case.
