2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case in connection with Jakkanpur P.S. Case No. 402 of 2025 registered for the offence/s punishable u/s 85, 80(2), 108 read with 3(5) of the B.N.S.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and the co-accused persons are alleged to have committed murder of the informant's daughter due to non-fulfillment of demand of Rs. 1,00,000/- as dowry.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is the sister-in-law (Nanad) of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.81911 of 2025(2) dt.08-12-2025 2/2 deceased. The petitioner neither demanded any dowry nor tortured the informant. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. The petitioner has clean criminal antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the anticipatory bail petition of the petitioner.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the allegation being general and omnibus, let the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court concerned, Patna, in connection with Jakkanpur P.S. Case No. 402 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharitya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (B.N.S.S.).
7. The application stands allowed.
