2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Shahpur Patory P. S. Case No. 86/2022 in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the informant alleged that on 05.03.2022, his father has been murdered by some unknown miscreants.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the FIR. Name of the petitioner surfaced in the confessional statement of co-accused Kundan Kumar. Petitioner is in custody since 25.04.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the bail application and submits that from para-22 of the case diary, it appears that this petitioner had committed murder of the father of the informant. Hence, he does not deserve regular bail.

6. Considering the nature of accusation, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. However, since petitioner is in custody since 25.04.2025, Trial Court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial, preferably, within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
