The petitioner seeks bail in Piar(Hatha O.P.) P.S. Case No.176 of 2019 registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 30(a), 38 and 41 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The informant on secret inputs that the petitioner was carrying wine near a temple and asked the petitioner to stop but the petitioner started fleeing away leaving the bag near the temple. Petitioner was apprehended and 96 bottles each containing 180 ml. liquor was recovered from the bag of the petitioner. Petitioner is in jail since 05.09.2019. Petitioner remained in jail for more than three months.

Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.74351 of 2019(3) dt.11-12-2019 2/2 Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Muzaffarpur in connection with Piar(Hatha O.P.) P.S. Case No.176 of 2019.
