2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 277 of 2023, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 419, 467, 468, 471, 406, 34 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The prosecution case is that the informant paid Anamika Singh for a plot of land, but she failed to have the property registered in the informant's name. Furthermore, co-accused Prasun Banerjee, who held the power of attorney for Anamika Singh, is alleged to have played an active role in the forgery of the Jamabandi receipt and in deceiving the informant.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated. The petitioner is only identifier. Prasun Banerjee, who was holder of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.82466 of 2025(2) dt.28-11-2025 2/2 power of attorney, has been granted anticipatory bail vide order dated 11.08.2025 in Cr. Misc. No. 31570 of 2024.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga in connection with Darbhanga Town P.S. Case No. 277 of 2023, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure/482(2) of the B.N.S.S., 2023.

6. The petitioner shall physically appear before the learned court below on each and every date till framing of the charge.

7. After accepting the bail bond of the petitioner, the learned court below shall verify his criminal antecedent and if it is found that he is involved in any other case, except the case which has been mentioned in paragraph no. 3 of the bail petition, his bail bond shall be cancelled.
