The present petition has been filed for grant of regular bail on behalf of the petitioner in connection with Lakhisarai P.S. Case No. 714 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 324, 307, 354(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 8/12 of POCSO Act.

The allegation is regarding the accused persons including the petitioner herein having surrounded the victim girl and forcefully tried to kidnap her whereafter the coaccused person, namely, Satyam Kumar is said to have inflicted a knife blow on the body of the victim girl. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as far as the petitioner is concerned, there is no allegation of

No.75569 of 2019(2) dt.26-11-2019 2/2 having assaulted the victim girl, however, allegations levelled by the victim girl is against Satyam Kumar, hence the petitioner deserves the privilege of regular bail. It is further submitted that the petitioner is having clean antecedent and he is in custody since 23.09.2019.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the present case, this Court deems it fit and proper to grant regular bail to the petitioner, above named, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-I-cum-Special Judge, Lakhisarai in connection with Lakhisarai P.S. Case No. 714 of 2019.
