The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sonbarsa Raj P.S. Case No. 154 of 2019, registered for offence punishable under Sections 30(a) and 41(1) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Further submission is that the petitioner is only driver of the said pick up van and he had no knowledge about the said consignment and he has no concern with the alleged liquor. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 15.09.2019. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case

No.73565 of 2019(2) dt.21-11-2019 2/2 and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the above-named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 2nd Additional District and Sessions Judge, Saharsa in connection with Sonbarsa Raj P.S. Case No. 154 of 2019.
