The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barauli P.S. Case No. 317 of 2019 dated 07.09.2017 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

60 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from a sugar cane field. The accusation against the petitioner is thus only on the basis of suspicion. Apart from one other case in which the petitioner has been granted bail, there is no other case of serious nature against him. The petitioner is physically challenged by 70%.

Regard being had to the aforestated facts and the period of custody which is from 08.09.2019, the
