The grievances of the petitioner in the present writ application is that the petitioner had applied for appointment on the post of Assistant Professor in Hindi pursuant to the advertisement No. 50 of 2014 published by the Bihar Pulic Service Commission but he was not called in the interview.

Patna High Court CWJC No.6304 of 2018(4) dt.27-04-2023 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was fulfilling the eligibility criteria and had submitted the relevant certificate along with Ph.D. certificate under Regulation, 2009.

Learned counsel appearing for the Bihar Public Service Commission submits that the selection process of the advertisement issued in the year 2014 has come to an end. The claim of the petitioner was considered by the Bihar Public Service Commission and the marks of NET as well as Ph.D. without Regulation, 2009 was also awarded, but the petitioner did not attain cut off marks for the purpose of calling him for interview. Therefore, he was not called for the interview. Taking into consideration the fact that the selection process for appointment has already been completed and all the posts advertised in 2014 have been filled up, no relief can be granted to the petitioner at this stage. The petitioner also did not attain the cut off marks for interview.

This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
