In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Daraunda P.S. Case No.141 of 2023 registered for the offence under sections 341, 323, 324, 325, 307 & 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Later on, section 302 of the Indian Penal Code was also added.

The petitioner and co-accused Subodh Singh are said to have caught hold the father of the informant and other accused persons are said to have assaulted him with axe. As a result of which, the father of the informant died. 4.

Considering the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this bail application is dismissed

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.84393 of 2024(2) dt.08-01-2025 2/2 with liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the Court below within four weeks from today and pray for regular bail. If the petitioner surrenders and prays for regular bail within the stipulated time, the Court below shall consider the same in accordance with law without being influenced by the order of this Court. While deciding the bail application of the petitioner, the Court below shall also consider the fact that similarly situated accused has been granted bail by this Court. (Sandeep Kumar, J) pawan/- U T
