2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No. 337 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 384, 387, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is alleged to have assaulted the victim by fire arms for non-payment of extortion money. They had demanded extortion of Rs. 20 lakhs.

4. The petitioner has been also identified in the CCTV footage.

5. Considering the serious nature of crime, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
