The petitioner is in custody in connection with P.R. Case No. 129 of 2019 (Special Case No. 7518 of 2019) for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Allegation against the petitioner is that he was the driver of the Tempo, on which liquor was being carried. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 22.10.2019.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is the driver of the Tempo, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each
