2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Chandramandih P. S. Case No. 82 of 2025 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 103(1), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
3. As per prosecution case, marriage of the daughter of informant was solemnized with co-accused Anil Das, 12 years ago. Thereafter, it is alleged that the daughter of informant was subjected to torture and cruelty by the F.I.R. named accused persons due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and subsequently, all the accused persons killed her.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.83652 of 2025(2) dt.02-12-2025 2/2 case merely because he is father-in-law of the deceased. As a matter of fact, deceased herself committed suicide. Petitioner is separate in mess and property and he is simply a victim of over implication. Thrust of accusation is against husband of the deceased who is already in custody. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and he is in custody since 15.05.2025.
5. However, learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.
6. Considering the nature of accusation, clean antecedent and period of custody, this bail application is allowed. The petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui in connection with Chandramandih P. S. Case No. 82 of 2025.
