The petitioner apprehends her arrest in Gaighat P.S. Case No. 20 of 2019, registered for the offences punishable under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner is that she along with her husband thrashed the uncle of informant and pushed and threw him by the side of road.

It is submitted that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner has got clean antecedent. Counsel for the State vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that postmortem report of the deceased which is incorporated in para 19 of the case diary shows that deceased sustained multiple abrasion injuries.
