Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 385, 323, 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act.
The informant had given money to the petitioner for management of backdoor entry in job. The FIR would reveal that the payment was made in spite of the knowledge of the criminal antecedent of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the informant opposed the prayer for bail.
Since the court cannot protect the illegal act of the informant nor the said money can be recovered in duly
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.19899 of 2018 (2) dt.12-04-2018 2/2 instituted civil proceeding, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Patrakar Nagar Police Station Case No. 665 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
