2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the State submitted that the authorities are ready to consider the matter for renewal of the license for SBBL Gun of the petitioner. However, it was submitted that the petitioner should make a fresh application and comply with the present requirement under the relevant provisions of the Arms Act as well as the Rules.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner readily agreed to the same.

4. In view thereof, the application stands disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to make such representation within one month from today. Upon the same being done, the Licensing Authority-cum-District Magistrate, Nalanda shall pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within two months from the date of filing of the application.
5. As the matter is being disposed off on the suggestion made by learned counsel for the State, the Court hopes that the time limit fixed for the exercise to be completed is strictly adhered to.
