Petitioners seek bail in a case registered under Sections 302, 201/34 of Indian Penal Code.

It is submitted by the petitioners' counsel that primarily co-accused Ravindra Singh, husband of petitioner No 1 is responsible for the occurrence along with co-accused Rang Bahadur Singh, husband of petitioner No 2. Petitioners are female members of the family. Petitioner No 2 is aged about 70 years and they have no role to play in the occurrence as is evident from the confessional statement of co-accused Ravindra Singh wherein he has primarily accepted the responsibility for the occurrence.

No.21662 of 2018 (4) dt.24-05-2018 2/2 Considering the aforesaid submissions and the fact that the petitioners are ladies and have no criminal antecedent and are in custody since 12.01.2018 and charge sheet has also been submitted in the case, their prayer for bail is allowed. Let the petitioners above named be released on bail on each of them furnishing bonds of Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram in Sasaram (Mufassil) Police Station Case No 1677 of 2017 dated 10.11.2017. It is, however, made clear that the petitioners will give an undertaking that they will appear before the Court below on each and every date fixed and their absence on any particular day may be sufficient cause for taking steps by the Court below for cancellation of their bail.
