2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chakiya P.S. Case No. 47 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 308(3), 308(4), 308(5), 111, 115(2), 351(2) and 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner along with other co-accused persons entered the shop of the informant and started assaulting and demanding extortion money.

4. The petitioner, who is accused in 22 cases is the kingpin of the gang demanding extortion.

5. The petitioner is in custody since 28.01.2025.

6. Considering the aforesaid fact and also the fact that the petitioner is involved in demanding ransom, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
