2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Chakiya P.S. Case No. 47 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 308(3), 308(4), 308(5), 111, 115(2), 351(2), 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of demanding extortion (Rangdari) and firing.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at the time of occurrence, the petitioner was in custody, and he cannot be involved in this kind of offence while being in custody. He further submits that the petitioner has been remanded in Chakiya P.S. Case No. 13 of 2015 on 15.02.2025

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.83144 of 2025(2) dt.03-12-2025 2/2 and thereafter, he remanded in the present case on 11.08.2025. He further submits that the matter has been compromised with the informant.

5. The learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the application of the petitioner by submitting that during investigation, it has come that the petitioner while in custody is involved in such cases. He is accused in 24 criminal cases.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, criminal antecedents of the petitioner and the tampering of evidence, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands rejected.
