The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Dulhin Bazar P.S.Case No.157 of 2016 registered for offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 452, 380, 354, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the husband of the petitioner is of firing on the informant and also outraging the modesty of the informant. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that on notice by the police, they have not appeared before the police, however, now the charge-sheet has been submitted against them and the allegation of outraging the modesty of the informant has not been found true.

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, let the petitioners surrender within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the order and make prayer for regular bail, which will be considered by the learned trial court on the basis of materials available before him and also considering the fact that they were earlier on the police bail.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is disposed of.
