The petitioner, who was a pillion rider, was apprehended while the driver of the motorcycle succeeded in his escape. Further more, a jute bag was there over the motorcycle containing 180 bottles of Nepali country made wine, each containing 300 ml.

In the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, coupled with the fact that the petitioner being under custody since 10.10.2019 having no criminal antecedent as per disclosure made under para-3 of the petition, the petitioner, Lakhindra Sahni @ Lakhandra Sahni is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand)

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.75295 of 2019(2) dt.26-11-2019 2/2 with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise, East Champaran, Motihari in Kundwachainpur P.S.Case No. 161/2019.
