2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Garkha P. S. Case No. 446 of 2025 in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 103(1) of the BNS.

3. As per the prosecution case, there is allegation against this petitioner that he assaulted on the head of the deceased by bricks.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the FIR. Name of the petitioner surfaced during investigation on the identification by one of the persons who was sleeping with the deceased. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and is in custody since 16.06.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the bail application and submits that petitioner had committed murder of the deceased and he was identified by one of the persons who was sleeping with the deceased. Hence, he does not

6. Considering the nature of accusation, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. However, since petitioner is in custody since 16.06.2025, Trial Court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial, preferably, within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
