2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act and the chargesheet has been submitted under Section 394 of the IPC.

3. As per the prosecution case, three persons looted Rs. 1,40,132/- from the cash counter of an office.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 14.08.2023 and he is quite innocent and has not committed any offence.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that the name of the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.83921 of 2023(2) dt.10-01-2024 2/2 has come during investigation and enough materials have come to connect the petitioner with the crime.

6. Considering the fact that it is a case of day light loot and the petitioner has criminal antecedent of similar nature, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.

7. The Court below is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner.
