2. This writ petition has been filed for seeking the following relief(s), which are as under:

"(i) For issuance of appropriate, writs, orders or directions to the Respondent No.4 to make payment of arrears of the salary/emoluments to the petitioner with effect from 01.04.17 to 28.02.23 in light of the order as contained in Memo No. B/310 dated 13.02.21 issued under the signature of the Registrar, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, Bihar.

(ii) For issuance of appropriate, writs, orders or directions to the Registrar of the respondent Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur,

Patna High Court CWJC No.17735 of 2023(2) dt.09-08-2024 2/3 Bihar (the Respondent No.3) to ensure that the arrears of salary/emolument for the period 01.04.17 to 28.02.23 be paid to the petitioner in terms the office order as contained in Memo No. B/310 dated 13.02.21 issued under the signature of the Registrar, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, Bihar.

(iii) Further appropriate writs, orders or directions may be issued to the respondents for payment of interest in accordance with law, on account of non payment of arrears of salary/emoluments for the period 01.04.17 to 28.02.23."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted a representation to the respondent no.3the Registrar, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, Bihar on 17.10.2023 (annexure P/2 'series'), the receipt of which was duly acknowledged by the Office of the respondent no.3, for payment of his arrears of salary, which has not been considered by the respondent no.3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, accordingly, submits that this writ petition may be disposed off at this stage itself by directing the respondent no.3 - the Registrar, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, Bihar to dispose off the representation submitted by the petitioner on 17.10.2023.

5. Learned counsel for the University has not objected to the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

6. Under such circumstances, the writ petition is disposed off with a direction to the respondent no.3- the Registrar, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, Bihar to dispose off the representation dated 17.10.2023, submitted by the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, by passing a reasoned order, in accordance with law.

7. Writ petition is disposed off with the above direction.
